My first Sunbonnet Sue applique.
Followed with hand quiting
Completion of a handphone pouch, figuring how to add on a strap for handle..
Got the pattern from Lay Sim, modified to the size I desire. Fully hand-sewed.

Start with a rectangle shape with size you want. Quilt the 3 layers (Front, batting and lining), preferably cotton.
Followed with sewing bias for both the opening then sew the zip on.

Front & Back
I used the size of 29cm x 24 cm with a 22 cm zip.

After the zip is sewed and fixed. Do running sticth on the other edges and pull it tight. Wrap a button or any round cover with fabric matching the color to close the hole, sewed with small stiches round the button. Do for both sides.
Make a small round shape with barcullum or cardboard then wrap with fabric and cover the hole inside the case as well. Do twice for both sides.
Quilted purse. Cotton fabric given by Irene and made this as a gift of appreciation for her.
Smiley face buttons on both edges folded up for base.

Purple wool, simple cable + knit and purl. 2 or 4 wooden buttons.
Sharing this project with my daughter Jaclyn. She said the colour of autumn but we made it for winter
Do all the knits on every row, manageable stitches. size 12 needles with 3 skeins of yarn.
Crochet done by Shiona and I sew the lining on. With leather handle & wooden buttons.
Feeling the joy on the arrival of a new life while making him these..
